Robert W. Bjerregaard, M.D. was born and raised in Wisconsin and majored in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He then earned a fellowship in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery under the mentorship of renowned instructors at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. When not in the clinic or the operating room, Dr. Bjerregaard enjoys traveling, waterskiing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
